Fangjia Yang
Research Assistant
I graduated from Wuhan University with a Bachelor in Science degree in Biology in 2018. During the undergraduate period, I got an intern at Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, studying the central nervous circuit. In 2019, I finished my MSc at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King’s College London,majoring in Neuroscience. I studied with Dr. Maria Jimenez-Sanchez for my master's project, aiming to investigate the role of heat shock proteins in reactive astrocytes in Alzheimer’s disease. Then, I joined the group study as a research assistant and my project focusese on the role of chaperones in astrocytes.
